On Monday 1 April 2019, we organised an IUC optimisation workshop in Brussels, bringing together experts from all around the globe: Cuba, Ethiopia, South Africa and many more of our partner countries. The workshop’s main goal? Sharing minds on how to improve one of VLIR-UOS’ flagship programmes as to make it future-proof.
“Having more impact is what we were aiming at with this kind of workshop,” says Koen De Koster, Strategy and Quality Advisor at VLIR-UOS. “The IUC programme is a very important and unique long-term type of cooperation we have with our partner institutions, so it is self-evident that we sometimes pause to reflect on what is working well and what could be better.”
