The project will investigate the extent of metal pollution in sediments and water along the Tanzanian coast. It will also investigate the extent of metal concentration in shrimps and crabs and whether consumption of shrimps and crabs from Tanzanian coastal waters presents a risk to consumers. It will also investigate the effects of metal pollution on population genetic structure.
