Water pollution in Kenya: Chemical analysis from source to use and treatment possibilities

The project focuses on the critical issue of scarcity of good-quality water in Kenya. Main objectives are to (i) evaluate water quality in terms of regulated parameters and so far unconsidered (in)organic (emerging) micropollutants; (ii) develop/implement an appropriate portfolio of analytical techniques; and (iii) evaluate, optimize and develop new efficient and affordable water treatment techniques.
