Implementation of a state of the art reference center for pharmaceutical and pharmacological studies in Cuba

This project aims to develop a central Cuban reference center for natural drug discovery according to current international standards, to establish a full technology platform offering solutions for poorly water soluble compounds, and to train Cuban scientists in state of the art formulation and analysis of medicinal and nutritional phytochemical preparations to allow the successful translation of active natural compounds into new phytotherapeutic products to the NSH, for economically affordable combination treatments of diseases with a high incidence in Cuba.
