Agronomic bio fortification to improve iodine intake in Northern Uganda: a stakeholder based intervention

This project aims to introduce and promote agronomic iodine bio-fortification as an alternative strategy to increase iodine consumption and food security in Northern Uganda. Using a stakeholder-based approach, the project will identify acceptable pathways for dissemination implementing iodine bio-fortification in Uganda . This is novel approach which when implemented has great potentials for improving food security and combating iodine deficiency amongst the poor rural households.
