Reinforcing the capabilities of Quy Nhon University-Vietnam in solving local problems by building up a doctoral training program


Quy Nhon University (QNU) is the main higher education institution in South Central Coast of Vietnam, and has responsi-bilities facing the difficulties of the local areas. Water pollution is a severe local problem due to frequent flooding, aquacul-ture, industrial activities... This project thus aims to build up a doctoral program in chemistry at QNU to train experts in the investigation and implementation of solutions for different chemistry-related problems of the region, especially in the treatment of polluted water. This constitutes an important contribution to a sustainable local development.
