Renewable energy and bioclimatic architecture improving sustainability and development in ecotouristic settlement: Las Terrazas.

The proposal focuses on sustainability in a rural and touristic community. Project results present a large replication potential through the country. Key features concern maximum contribution to energy use reduction, cost-effectiveness, optimal solutions for system-integrated renewable energy sources, sustainable effort engaging the inhabitants and community actors, and implementation of advanced monitoring tools. The project will be a national showcase for sustainable community development.
