“Buen vivir” by qualitative early childhood education and care

This project aims to foster the development of young children (ages 0-5) by providing better-trained child-minders and teachers.

A practical training course, 'train the trainer', based on contextualised theoretical conceptual frameworks of child development, will be developed and presented, in order to deliver highly professional trainers, teachers, and child-minders. This course requires a high-performance Child Care and Education Centre (ECCEC) for children ages 0-5, that will be established as a model and a site for internships. This Child Care and Education Centre will address the developmental needs of 100 children ages 0-5, and will contribute to the well-being of the children, their families, and the personnel working there. The clients of the Child Care and Education Centre will represent the diversity of the community. Easy access to the Child Care and Education Centre will strengthen the link between the community and the Centre.
