Professionalizing Ethiopian Public Administration to Support Development Practitioners

Ongoing

This project improves and harmonizes public administration teaching in Ethiopia, and makes it research based and contextually relevant: it provides two international accreditations to Ambo University and Addis Ababa University teaching programmes, and produces one Quality Management Guide for public administration teaching, one Handbook on Civil Service Systems in Africa, and three Manuals on Organizational Performance Management, Leadership and HRM, and Partnerships Management.

Each deliverable is produced by sustainably connecting Ethiopian public administration academics with one another, with international peers, and with development practitioners, in the framework of an Ethiopian Public Administration Association established in our former TEAM project.

Upgraded teaching and sustainable connections empower Ethiopian public administration community to become a partner of government, development actors and public service organizations for national development.
