A European Union aid policy? European paradigms and division of labour in development assistance for health in Brussels

The research aims tor provide a conceptually innovative and empirically founded answer to the debate to what extent there is a 'EU' aid policy, focusing on the health sector and including field research in Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique and Kenya. Both (1) the paradigms of European donors and the (2) division of labour will be analysed, in (a) Brussels and (b) on the ground.
