Let’s Accelerate Together ! Community Event on Research Uptake & Impact
In the coming months, a new consortium will take shape, dedicated to accelerating the Uptake, Use and Impact of research and education initiatives supported by VLIRUOS.
This dynamic initiative is led by an interdisciplinary team of researchers and university administrators from UCuenca (Ecuador), MUST (Uganda), KU Leuven, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and Hogeschool Gent (Belgium).
To ensure our efforts align with the needs of the VLIRUOS community, we’ll be hosting regular consultations – and we want to hear from you!
We are pleased to invite you to two interactive sessions where we will present the findings from the first phase of the Accelerate project and learn about your insights, experiences, and ideas to shape the next phase of the initiative.
Preliminary program for the two sessions: your input will directly inform the development of the next project phase—this is your chance to have a real impact!

Presentation of the initial set-up of the Accelerate project and preliminary results
Exchange on good practices related to uptake use and impact
Exchange on factors limiting uptake use and impact in development projects from higher education institutions
Presentation of the UUI Learning community structure and ways to get involved

The insights gathered during both sessions will directly inform the implementation phase of this project (2025 – 2027). This is a unique opportunity to contribute your experiences and learn more about how you can engage with the Accelerate UUI network and co-create the learning community - whether you're interested in learning, sharing best practices, or collaborating.
