VLIRUOS Competitive Calls Selection
VLIRUOS global reach continues to grow with project proposals submitted by institutions from across the world. While not all proposals are selected, every submission reflects a shared commitment to academic development and international cooperation.
The charts show the outcomes of project submissions across VLIRUOS competitive calls, 2017 to the present. All submissions are assessed through a competitive and transparent selection process that promotes academic quality, inclusivity, and the potential for sustainable impact.
Institutional University Cooperation (IUC) is also part of VLIRUOS competitive calls. These projects run for up to ten years and may span multiple Five Year Plans (FYPs), enabling deep, long-term partnerships between Flemish universities and partner institutions.
We are currently working on the data needed to visualise IUC projects in the chart above. In the meantime, please click the button below to explore the detailed IUC phases.
VLIRUOS has made significant efforts to consolidate and validate the data, particularly when it comes to historical records. Please note that work is still ongoing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all information.
