Voices of Change: How Open Doors Fellowship Transforms Lives
December 2024 - The Open Doors Fellowship Programme (ODFP) is designed to support post-doctoral and mid-career women researchers working in agricultural research at African (inter)national research centers.
Through its uniquely tailored approach, ODFP provides participants with training and development opportunities that are not only fulfilling but also nurturing and empowering.
ODFP also aims to bridge connections between Belgian laboratories and African research centers, fostering long-term collaborations.
By promoting continuous North-South and South-South partnerships, the program creates a vibrant network of shared learning and innovation.
During this Community Talks, Dr. Ir. Tognisse Anique Godjo from Benin, Dr. Hewan Demissie Degu from Ethiopia, Dr. Hadiza Lawal Abdullahi from Nigeria and Dr. Laura Cortada-Gonzalez from Spain/Belgium share their experiences and discuss how the Open Doors Fellowship has influenced their professional careers and personal development.
