Our Members
VLIRUOS is proud to represent a dynamic and diverse network of Flemish higher education institutions. These institutions foster collaboration, innovation, and development in education and research. Together, they play a vital role in VLIRUOS’s mission to contribute to global sustainable development through academic cooperation.
ICOS & GEO
The contact persons at the Flemish universities are Institutional Coordinators for Development Cooperation (ICOS). The contact persons at the Flemish universities of applied sciences and arts are Global Engagement Officers (GEO). ICOS and GEO inform academics, specialists and lecturers about opportunities for cooperation. They help with formulating project proposals and provide support for the execution of VLIRUOS-funded projects and scholarships.
