IUC 2022 – Phase In – Information and Call for interest

IUC 2022 – Phase In – Information and Call for interest

The IUC 2022 Call consists of a 3-stage selection procedure. On 29 January 2021, the Bureau UOS endorsed the advice of the IUC selection committee as to the selection of 5 partner universities to enter the IUC Phase In, the last stage in the preparations for these partner institutions to engage in IUC cooperation with Flemish HEIs.

The IUC ‘Phase In’ starts with the following main steps:

  • Information on the VLIR-UOS website: making the IUC Extended Concept Notes available for the broader public (see links per IUC proposal below)
  • Information session for IUC coordination teams ( 16 February and 17 March 2021) focussing on a discussion and planning with regard to the next steps of matchmaking and team composition (in view of broadening of the Flemish HEIs interinstitutional participation).
  • Revised procedure for team composition starting from a proposal of local and Flemish Team Leaders (TL) proposed by the IUC partnership
  • Appointment by the Flemish TL by the Bureau UOS by end of April 2021
  • 'Connecting' event per IUC partnership (in the week of 31 May 2021, tbc)

Meanwhile, we invite interested academics to appraise the partner university documents made available on this website and in case of further interest contact the coordinators and ICOS for the IUC partnerships.
