About Burundi

Burundi is one of our partner countries. Since 2003, we have budgeted over EUR 4 million for cooperation programmes with Burundi, including one long-term Institutional University Cooperation (IUC) programme with Université du Burundi (UB).

The ongoing IUC programme with UB is the cornerstone of the Burundi country programme.

The country strategy for Burundi identifies the following main themes for all future interventions in cooperation with Burundi:
