VLIR-UOS is looking for communication interns!



Welcome to VLIR-UOS!

We're a vital hub within the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR), dedicated to fostering sustainable development through partnerships & scholarships. Supported by the Belgian federal government, we're proud to fund projects that connect Flemish academics with peers in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

You

  • are studying a degree in communication.
  • are autonomous and also like to work within a team.
  • have an eye for detail and precision.
  • are punctual and meet deadlines.
  • are enthusiastic, motivated, creative, inventive, etc.
  • have good writing and editing skills and are allergic to spelling mistakes.
  • have a good knowledge of the Internet and social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok).
  • have some experience with graphic design, video editing, or other creative tools.
  • have a good knowledge of the Microsoft environment and Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • live in Belgium.

 

Tasks

  • You create content for our social networks, website, and newsletters (MailChimp).
  • You publish content on our different platforms.
  • You contribute to the development and improvement of communication strategies: audience, content, platforms, etc.
  • You assist in daily communication operations.
