Building resilience in rice based cropping systems in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) through an integrated approach

Finished

Rice production in Sub-Saharan Africa is constrained by unfavorable environmental stresses such as drought and low phosphorus availability in the soil. By integrating the search for drought and low P tolerant varieties with the design of suitable and resilient management techniques, climate and environmental smart cultivation systems will be implemented at smallholder's farm level.
