Enhancing the educational program and the research of the master in solid state physics at Quy Nhon University
FinishedThis project aims to enhance the educational program and the research activities in the Master program in Solid State Physics at the Department of Physics of Quy Nhon University (DOP-QNU) through intensive collaboration with the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the KU Leuven (DOPA-KUL). In the framework of this project, an improved curriculum will be designed and integrated into the master program by experienced KU Leuven lecturers and researchers. The curriculum not only aims to bring new and advanced knowledge, but also to develop broader research skills that are beneficial for both local students and staff in higher education and training. In addition, the project will promote the research activities of researchers at DOP-QNU via short-term research exchanges that allow the local researchers to carry out dedicated research work at DOPA-KUL. Two of the research topics in this project are the detection of poisonous substances in food products and drinking water for fishermen, addressing emerging health issues in the region around Quy Nhon city.
