NSS 2015: Latin-American axe on preventive conservation of built heritage

The project creates a Latin American axes for the research and expertise creation on preventive conservation of Monuments and Sites.   It will strengthen exchange and joint research of ongoing PhD students and staff between two IUC projects (Universidad de Cuenca and Universidad del Oriente), facilitate research, teaching exchange and the active participation to conferences planned by each partner. The collaboration with the UNESCO chair on Preventive Conservation hosted at KU Leuven helps create the joint outreach of the regional PRECOMOS axe.
